Teens will be introduced to painting with encaustic. This medium uses heat, beeswax with resin, and pigment to make completely unique art. Participants will learn safe use of the equipment while experimenting with many of the encaustic techniques. Teens will learn fusing, carving and scraping, image transfers, and stencils. Program runs for 6 consecutive Thursdays from 4:30-6:00pm. Limited to 6 participants.
