Learn how to print a photograph in preparation for transferring using encaustic. You’ll learn how to create a smooth layer of encaustic as a bed for your image. Then you’ll easily transfer your photo using tried and tested methods. You’ll then seal the image using a thin layer of encaustic medium. Finally you’ll have the opportunity to enhance your image using PanPastels and wax pastels. This workshop is great for photographers, as well as anyone wanting to learn the basics of fusing. Photo transfers with encaustic add depth that cannot be achieved any other way.

The workshop runs Saturday April 1st from 10am-4pm.

Materials required: One 8×10 wooden cradled panel or smaller. All other materials are provided.
