This four day immersive exploration of texture, colour and process provides an overview of several artists “toolbox” techniques to add interest, complexity and originality to your mixed media collages.

Day 1: Create a multitude of gelli-plate prints using acrylic paint, employing stencils, masks, and overprinting. Gelli-plates are a simple and fun way to make mono prints!

Day 2: Students make their own OOAK papers, 4 types (rust, water media, drawing media, and ink) with at least 2-4 large sheets of each type.

Day 3: Collaging all papers created so far. Adding chalk paint as needed. Collaging a central image.

Includes all materials except for substrates.

Runs 10-4pm each day.
