Teens will be introduced to painting with encaustic. This medium uses heat, beeswax with resin, and pigment to make completely unique art. Participants will learn safe use of the equipment while experimenting with many of the encaustic techniques. Teens will learn fusing, carving and scraping, image transfers, and stencils.

Program runs Friday August 11 from 1:00-4:00pm. Limited to 6 participants. Participants must be at least 13 years old to participate.
