Our first full rainbow from the earth! Six new colours, made with natural earth pigments, two from Manitoulin Island.
Salamander is made with red clay from central Manitoulin, Chickadee is Yellow ochre from a cliff overlooking treasure island near our workshop, Northern Pike is yellow ochre mixed with natural indigo and natural mica, Lake Trout is a sparkle made with natural mica steeped with indigofera tinctoria plant, Steelhead is a warm grey ochre and natural mica, and River Rock is violet earth and natural mica.Â
We couldnt be more proud of the gentle but serious shimmer these all natural pigments have provided. All mica is ethically sourced, meaning we can trace this pigment to its mine, and we know that the workers and the environment were treated with care.
Paintstones are lightfast pigments, tree sap, and gum Arabic.
These little jewels are about Beam Paints values and support respect for the earth and are plastic free.
