These hog bristle brushes have a shortened handle to make them practical for encaustic painters the overall brush length from tip to tip is 8.5". The angled brush shape is ideal for cutting in close lines and the broad end is great for laying down strokes of colour. The thick bristles are well suited for use with hot wax paint and they heat quickly to work the paint effectively.
